INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
Strada seeks to invest in U.S. markets that are positioned to grow faster than the rest of the country due to their possessing certain key attributes. Strada considers the presence of the following to be the key characteristics of a market poised to outpace others:

  • Local economy with a significant concentration of high-growth industries: information technology, bio/life-sciences, and clean energy, among others
  • Proximity to top universities and research institutions
  • Proximity to mass transit

Strada has identified the San Francisco Bay Area as an attractive market under the above criteria and given the firm's deep market knowledge and contacts, has focused on that region to-date. In the future, Strada intends to expand into other Western markets that conform to the firm's criteria, including Los Angeles, Seattle, and Austin.

Since its inception in April 2010, Strada has closed over $180 million of real estate investments in the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently working on over 4 million square feet of development in San Francisco.
