In June 2020, Strada was selected to reposition two vacant flagship retail buildings in the Union Square submarket of San Francisco. Both assets previously housed full-building anchor tenants and the strategy involved the re-entitlement of the buildings into mixed-use retail and office assets. 

Strada re-entitled the 65,000-square-foot former Barney’s New York department store at 48 Stockton Street in 2021 and is executed on the mixed-use repositioning, which completed in summer 2023.

Strada also processed entitlements on the expansion and repositioning of 2 Stockton Street into a 105,000-square-foot mixed-use building. The project received Planning Commission approval in November 2022 and is currently moving through the City’s permitting process.
