Strada, in partnership with two family offices, acquired the Jamestown development site in Candlestick Point in 2018 from the San Francisco 49ers.  The site was formerly used as parking for Candlestick Park.

Strada successfully re-entitled the site for 121 for-sale townhomes in compliance with both the State Density Bonus and City Inclusionary Housing Policy.  The Project won unanimous approval at the San Francisco Planning Commission in 2021 and was supported by the Bayview community after significant community input and outreach.

The Project will deliver a mix of market rate and inclusionary affordable housing and will deliver substantial landscape improvements to the public realm along Jamestown Avenue. The project will create a direct connection to the future improvements at Candlestick Point, which will include over 10,000 new housing units, 135,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail, 75,000 square feet of entertainment space and over 106 acres of new park open space.
