5th & Mission

Strada worked with Brookfield Properties (then Forest City) on the 5M Project, a 1.7 million-square-foot multi-phased, mixed-use project, located in downtown San Francisco. The 4-acre site at 5th and Mission Streets includes commercial, residential and activated open-space uses designed to host programs focused on incubating, supporting and retaining innovation-based ventures in San Francisco. 

Strada advised Brookfield on the entitlement strategy and deal structure, including leading negotiation of a complex development agreement with the City of San Francisco. The first phase 640,000 square foot office building at 415 Natoma and a 302-unit apartment building, The George, are now complete.
